Kate Povletich
Since GV opened up, Kate has served as Social Studies Dept. Chair and committed herself to not only establishing GV but being a leader of the school. She has served as Senior Class Advisor and is always making sure Seniors are communicated to about any Senior related information. Homecoming doesn't happen with out Kate's help. Besides the quality and amount of out of the classroom support she gives GV, the most important quality she demonstrates is her teaching. She does all the other things and continues to perform at a high standard in the classroom. |

Gil Castro
Gil is our night lead custodian. He is a dedicated employee who goes out of his way to make sure our night time activities are properly set up, supported and secured. He takes pride in the work he does and GV. If any of the staff at GV ever needed any type of custodial help after 3:30 pm on any given day, most likely, Gil was the person who took care of the situation. |

Jennifer Huhn-Jennifer participates in many activities for Golden Valley. She is serving as the Professional Development Coach and also assists with our GOALS program. Jen also works within the special education department. She is constantly working with students, parents and our school to make students feel included. Recently a parent contacted me to speak volumes about the difference Jen has made in her daughter's life. She went as far as to say that if it were not for Jen, her daughter would not be able to become the self advocate she is today and that Jen is very professional and responds in a very timely manner whenever asked about anything. |
